BTC Address Update for Payouts

Written by Tanya S

Sadly, we have to inform you that we are forced to remove BTC cryptocurrency addresses beginning with “bc1p” from our payment processing system for technical reasons.

⚠️ To continue receiving payments, please update your wallet address.

What you need to do

There are two possible options — choose the one that fits your setup.

Option 1: If you use an exchange wallet (custodial)

If you are using an exchange such as:

  • Binance

  • Bybit

  • Coinbase

In this case, changing the BTC address type is usually not possible.

👉 Recommended solution:

  • Use USDT (TRC20)

  • Address format: starts with T...

🎁 Benefits:

  • low transaction fees

  • fast processing

You may also use USDT ERC20, but fees on Ethereum are typically higher.

Option 2: If you use a personal wallet (non-custodial)

If you are using a personal wallet (e.g., Electrum, Trust Wallet, etc.):

👉 Please follow these steps:

  1. Create a new BTC address in your wallet;

  2. Select one of the supported types that start with:

  • bc1q

  • 1

  • 3
